Despite putin’s command to shoihu “not to assault” the industrial zone of Mariupol, the russian army is bombing Azovstal.

It has been reported by the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko.

“Right now, the bombing and strikes of the Azovstal territory are happening. At the same time, there are battles next to the tram depot, which is located a substantial distance away from the “Azovstal” territory. This is just for the understanding of “the green corridors for Azovstal” and “the win of putin over Mariupol”, he has told.

Andriushchenko is sure that the occupiers will not stop before they fully destroy everyone inside Azovstal, both Ukrainian servicemen and civil citizens.

“Only the intervention from the outside and the securement of safety warranties from the foreign partners are able to provide real rescue for everyone. If we are talking about the humanitarian steps,” the advisor to the city mayor of Mariupol has added.

Earlier today, the russian media has reported that the president of the rf volodymyr putin has ordered the minister of defence serhiy shoihu not to assault the industrial zone of Mariupol. At the same time, putin has ordered to block the territory of the Ukrainian city. Based on the quotes by the russian media, he has said that it is worth to preserve lives of its occupiers and there is no need “to crawl into the catacombs”.

Shoihu has stated that 2000 people remain in the territory of Azovstal.

A small part of Mariupol remains unoccupied by russians. There are the Azov regiment, marines, policemen, border guard, and civil residents at the Azovstal plant, together with the wounded.

The enemies are in the way of normal evacuation, continuously shell the city, and assault it.

Yesterday, the commander of the 36th marine brigade, who are defending Mariupol together with the Azov regiment, major Serhiy Volyna has appealed to the world leaders, asking to enact the procedure of extraction towards the servicemen of the Mariupol garrison and the civil residents who take shelter in the plant. He has noted that it might be his last appeal, as the defenders “have only a few days left, maybe even hours”.

President Volodymyr Zelenkyy has said that there are two ways to save people from Mariupol, either by force, if we have the required weaponry, or with negotiation. However, russian is not capable of diplomacy, so far.
