The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark Mette Frederiksen announced their intention of sending even more weapons to Ukraine.
Frederiksen informed about it at the briefing in Kyiv on 21 April.
“One of the most important signals from the Danish party today is that we intend to send even more weapons to Ukraine. That’s what is needed most,” said the head of Denmark’s government.
Frederiksen, however, did not specify what weapons are meant.
She also said that Denmark made a new contribution to Ukraine’s defense and security in the amount of 600 thousand Danish Krones. The country has earlier provided significant political, financial, and sanctions support to Ukraine as well as supplied necessary equipment and weapons.
Mette Frederiksen informed that the country has officially confirmed its consent to take part in the rebuilding of Mykolaiv. Denmark will also provide support to the International criminal court in terms of documentation of all crimes committed by russia and will help Ukrainian families which have suffered.
Today the Prime Ministers of Denmark and Spain visited Kyiv and Borodyanka.
In March, Denmark announced that it is ready to send its military to Ukraine for a peacekeeping mission.
