Ukraine together with Denmark and Spain agreed to continue the work on increase of sanctions pressure on russia.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated at the joint briefing with the Prime Ministers of the Kingdom of Spain and Pedro Sánchez and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark Mette Frederiksen.

"This pressure must increase until the aggression on the part of the russian federation is terminated. And I really want all these sanctions (and we share the same idea with our partners) to be profound and really effective so that russia would really feel them. So that the russian federation and the russian military would feel bad after those sanctions," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

He stressed that the restrictions should be severe.

“If SWIFT (disconnection of the rf from the service - Edit.) is to be introduced, then for all banks. The issue of restricting energy supply or energy products supply from the rf to Europe is difficult to raise, and specifically to implement embargo – embargo on oil, embargo on gas,” stressed the President of Ukraine.

Today, the Prime Ministers of Denmark and Spain visited Kyiv and Borodyanka.

The USA extended the list of the rf citizens and companies under sanctions. Earlier President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed that sanctions against the aggressor country russia have to prove that there is no alternative to peace.
