The new US assistance package to Ukraine will include howitzers, artillery systems, and tactical drones.
"Today, I am announcing another batch of military assistance worth $ 800m so that Ukrainians could fight in the East, in the Donbas region. This package includes heavy artillery, dozens of howitzers, and 144,000 ammunition sets for these howitzers," - Biden said.
In addition, russian ships will be banned from entering US ports.
