Ukrainian General Staff: russia seizes documents from soldiers to prevent identification

Desertion cases and other ways of avoiding involvement in the war in Ukraine became more frequent in the russian army.

The personal documents are taken away from the soldiers of the russian occupation army to make it impossible to identify a person in case of death.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported it.

It is about the personnel pulled to replenish casualties on the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

"The enemy is demoralized… The cases of the hostile soldiers finding new ways to avoid involvement in the war became more frequent. The personnel resort to desertion, surrender into captivity and self-mutilation", - the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine added.

Deputy of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Maliar addressed the russian soldiers and told them how to surrender to captivity not to become food for powder in the war in Ukraine.
