Ukraine is serious about the future document of security guarantees. It pays special attention to the partner countries that should not fail in the case of any aggression in the future.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that at the joint press conference with Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov, devoted to his visit to Kyiv.

“Today, I guess, it is important for us to solve the issue of the current war with the rf and to restore our territorial integrity. We do understand already that it is not easy for us to have such neighbors. That is why we are talking about the fundamental agreement, the obligations that guarantors can undertake in security,” he said.

Zelenskyy underlined that the agreement and guarantees are more efficient and powerful than just words because they protect human lives.

The document drafting is in progress right now. Security advisors, the representatives of these and those leaders of the future circle of security guarantors, are getting together and having offline and online discussions.

Zelenskyy added that Ukraine intends to get at maximum for the state and for the people.

“There will be these guarantees, both separate and in a package. But, anyway, I’d like to wait for the result,” announced the head of the state.

Ukraine insists on the end of the war with russia by signing the international agreement of the security guarantees. It is envisaged that in the case of a new attack on Ukraine the signatories have three days for consultations and after that, they should help to fight off the attacks, including the closure of the sky and other necessary steps.
