By the end of this month, major reconstruction works will be completed at key infrastructure facilities in the Kyiv region and 20 temporary crossings will be opened. This was announced by Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov.
One of the already opened crossings is the bridge over the river Irpin on the road M-07 Kyiv - Kovel - Yagodyn. "This crossing restores the connection between Gostomel, Bucha, and Borodyanka with the capital," Kubrakov recalls.
The Minister adds that all the work on its construction took 2 weeks. Access roads to the crossing are 150 and 125 meters, the width of the carriageway and bridge - 8 meters.
Meanwhile, Ukravtodor notes that the agency is actively working to repair the damaged infrastructure.
"Step by step we are restoring transport connections in the territories of the Kyiv region liberated from the russians. It will be easier to get to Kyiv from Gostomel, Bucha, and Borodyanka from today,” they emphasize.
To remind, earlier the Minister of Infrastructure visited the Kharkiv region and announced emergency repairs of major roads in the direction that were not repaired under the program of President Volodymyr Zelensky's "Great Construction" in previous years.
