The President's Office presented to the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development a plan for the economic recovery of Ukraine, developed jointly with the Cabinet of Ministers. This was announced by the head of the OP Andriy Yermak.

The plan is based on nine key principles and provides full access to EU and G7 markets. According to Yermak, the United Kingdom and the European Union have already announced the abolition of import duties on Ukrainian goods.

"We are waiting for similar actions by the governments of the United States, Japan and Canada," he said.

Ukraine's economic recovery plan consists:

- acquisition of candidate status, and then full membership in the EU;

- building the economy on the basis of deregulation and liberalization. Most licenses and permits have already adopted a declarative principle for business;

- creation of logistics routes in the western direction. The government is working to increase their capacity. The first results are already available - a memorandum has been signed between Ukraine and Poland;

- transition from export of raw materials to processing in the industries that give the largest export revenue. Due to processing, it will be possible to achieve significant growth in agriculture and metallurgy.

- development of the domestic military-industrial complex. It is not only about the purchase of weapons, but also about production, in particular through the transfer of military technology.

- self-sufficiency in the energy sector will be achieved by increasing domestic gas production and the development of nuclear energy. In 3-5 years it is quite possible to gain energy independence.

- climate modernization. The creation of new facilities in various industries must take into account the principles of the "green economy".

- at least 60% localization. Ukrainian companies and manufacturers will be involved in the renewal of Ukraine. This will give a boost to the economy, create new jobs, and revive entrepreneurial activity.
