The russians completely destroyed the grain elevator complex in Rubizhne.
That was reported by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Hayday.
“Satellite images by Planet Lab show that powerful russian bombs were dropped on the territory of LLC “Golden AGRO” in Rubizhne. The grain elevator complex that opened in 2020 was completely destroyed,” Hayday stated.
He said that previously the company had a laboratory with “the most modern equipment, including an express analyzer, which provided accurate and rapid analysis of all crops, a grain dryer with a capacity of 1500 tons per day, a separator, autoscale, automatic sampler”.
The complex could store 30,000 tons of grain simultaneously.
“Rushists want to cause a Holodomor. Cases of our grain being exported to the russian federation have been recorded in the occupied cities. Earlier, they also destroyed all the food warehouses in Severodonetsk,” Hayday stressed.
On May 2, russia launched a missile attack on a grain elevator in the Dnipropetrovsk region. On May 1, the invaders shelled agricultural enterprises in the Synelnykivskyy district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, destroying two granaries, one of which contained grain.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, russia stole several hundred thousand tons of grain from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
