Over the past 24 hours, three people were injured in the shelling of the occupiers in Kharkiv Oblast, announced by Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
"Kharkiv - 2 people, Chuguiv district - 1 person. Doctors also provide assistance to the residents of the settlements liberated from the occupiers," said Sinegubov.
According to him, the russian army fired two shots from multiple launch rocket system at Kharkiv and applied shelling once. As a result, civilian facilities in Pivnichna Saltovka [the residential area on the north of the city] were damaged.
"In the Kharkiv district, a fire broke out at one of the enterprises due to the morning shelling. The factory was closed due to martial law, the premises were severely damaged. Unfortunately, a 46-year-old worker who was on the territory at the time of the shelling died," he said.
The occupiers also fired on Zolochiv, Barvinkove, Dergachi, and Chuguiv during the day.
"Active hostilities continue in the Izyum direction. We support our Armed Forces, they courageously defend their positions and do not let the enemy pass, though they are constantly trying to attack," - Sinegubov added.
On May 1 three people were lost due to the occupier attacks of the Kharkiv Oblast.
On April 30, the building of a medical facility in Kharkiv was damaged. As a result of the shelling, the concrete structures and window frames of the technical floor of the hospital were partially destroyed, also there was a fire on the 4th floor.
