Russians shelled residential areas of Kharkiv, including Saltivka district, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov reported.
The settlements Bohodukhiv, Zolochiv, and Mala Danylivka came under fire in the region.
As a result of the shellings, 3 people were killed and 8 civilians were injured.
As in the previous days, the situation remains the most intense in the Izium direction of all the Kharkiv region. There the enemy keeps trying to carry on offensive actions.
"Thanks to the efficient actions of our defenders, those attempts were in vain. Today the russian occupiers have yet again suffered great losses in manpower and equipment," the statement reads.
The aggressor also carried out shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces positions in the area of the settlements Udy and Prudianka and suffered considerable losses in the area of the village Staryy Saltiv.
Ukrainian forces regained control over 4 villages in the Kharkiv region.
