Mass graves of civilians continue to be found in Kyiv region

On May 2, the bodies of two tortured people were found in Kalynivka.

By May 4, 1,235 bodies of civilians killed by the russian military had been examined in the Kyiv region. 282 remain unidentified.

Just yesterday, another 20 bodies of civilians of the Kyiv region were taken to morgues, the head of the Kyiv RMA Oleksandr Pavlyuk said in Telegram.

“Mass graves of civilians killed by russian occupants continue to be found in the Kyiv region,” he wrote.

On April 29, the burial of three men with signs of torture was found in the forest near the village of Myrotske, Buchansky district. The victims had been tortured for a long period of time, and bullet wounds were found on their limbs. The Kyiv police have already examined the bodies of the victims, and now they are being sent for forensic examination.

On May 2, in the village of Kalynivka, Makarivska amalgamated community of Buchansky district two people were found buried with signs of torture. Criminal proceedings for violation of laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) are being investigated.

Mass graves with murdered Ukrainian civilians are also arranged by the enemy in Mariupol and its suburbs. A third mass grave was found near Mariupol. The russian military also burns the bodies of dead Ukrainians in mobile crematoriums to hide their crimes.
