Task Force East fended off two attacks of russian occupants on Wednesday and eliminated 36 of the enemy`s personnel, Facebook page of the Task Force East informs.
"On May 4 russian fascist troops conducted 2 attacks on Ukrainian defenders` positions in the area of responsibility of the Task Force East. The enemy`s losses are as follows: personnel – 36; infantry fighting vehicles – 2; armored personnel carriers – 2; grenade launchers – 3," the message states.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian occupant troops concentrated up to 40 attack and transport helicopters Mi-25 and Mi-8 in Belgorod region in close proximity to the state border with Ukraine.
Russian army command is trying to increase the peace of the offensive in the east of Ukraine to reach administrative borders of Luhansk and Donetsk regions and to deploy the offensive in Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih directions.
