The head of the President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, said on Telegram that almost 500 civilians were evacuated from Mariupol and “Azovstal”.
"We have carried out another stage of a complex operation to evacuate people from Mariupol and “Azovstal”. I can say that we managed to get out almost 500 civilians," Yermak said.

I hope that continued coordination with Moscow & Kyiv will lead to more humanitarian pauses to allow civilians safe passage.
António Guterres, the Secretary-General of the United Nations, announced the same figure.
“In a joint UN and International Red Cross operation, 2 safe passage convoys successfully evacuated nearly 500 people from the Azovstal plant, Mariupol & surrounding areas. I hope that continued coordination with Moscow & Kyiv will lead to more humanitarian pauses to allow civilians safe passage,” Guterres wrote.
