Today in Kherson the occupiers did a global shakedown. Many checkpoints have been set up in the city, especially where they have never been set up before. All people are checked much more severely.

“Their servicemen came to our apartment building at about 9 am today (they had never come before). The basement and the roof were checked, ”the statement reads.
Yesterday they closed the entrance to and from the Kherson region, which was from Berislav to Kryvyi Rih. It was announced that it will not be possible to leave the region until May 11.
They also restricted the possibility of moving in the middle of the occupied territory: it is difficult to get to Kherson from neighboring villages and towns.
“They are preparing for May 9. They are afraid of forceful provocations. So they deceive everyone and everything they can. We are even forced to stop transporting humanitarian aid just in the middle of the city by May 11. We asked everyone we provide to be patient for the next 5 days”, he added.
There are known facts of the russian military taking away humanitarian aid when they accidentally find it. They say: “We will give it to people on May 9”.
“That's why we don't want them to find our small humanitarian depots”, he said.
We are reminding, that the situation in the Kherson region remains difficult, with explosions and shelling in the region. The occupiers continue fighting and looting there. The situation in the occupied villages is stable critical.
According to British intelligence, russia is aiming for a long-term occupation of Kherson.
