The Diia.City project has been shortlisted for the Emerging Europe Awards 2022.
It was reported by The Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
According to him, this award is given to organizations, projects and individuals for achievements in the development of the area.
«Diia.City nominated in the category of Modern and Future-Proof Policy “for its unique contribution to positioning Ukraine as a powerful IT hub, by creating enabling conditions for companies to grow and attract foreign investment”. The winners of the award will be determined at the Future of Emerging Europe Summit & Awards 2022, which will take place on June 23 in Brussels», Fedorov said.
The Minister has encouraged Ukrainians to take part in the vote and thus influence the results.
Earlier, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reported the number of residents of Diia.City increased. Among them is a company that creates popular applications for iPhone, iPad and Mac.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation plans to transform Diia from a state-owned enterprise to a company with a structure similar to a private equity company. This strategy envisages the release of "Diia" on the IPO.
