The situation in the russian-occupied territories of southern Ukraine remains tense. The enemy does not conduct active offensive operations on the line of contact, however, it accumulates forces and tries to restore the damaged equipment. This was reported by the Operational Command South.
At the same time, an outright looting of the occupied territories of Kherson and Mykolayiv continues. Grain, machinery, property, people are being stolen by the occupiers and exported to Russia.
Russians are hunting Ukrainian activists and torturing them; and if activists refuse to cooperate, they are being shot.
"Departures from the occupied settlements are blocked. Having no support from the citizens, the occupiers abuse them with threats and lies about the already established power over the entire south of Ukraine," the statement said.
Counter-sabotage measures continue in Odesa region. The situation in the border areas with Transnistria is stable and under control.
The enemy's naval group continues to control the northwestern part of the Black Sea, blocking shipping and threatening missile strikes. The possibility of an air strike remains high.
"Follow the measures and algorithms of security. Monitor the situation and actions of suspects, inform the competent authorities, do not disclose information about the activities and movements of our units, places and consequences of raschists’ shelling. Do not help the enemy, believe in defence forces," - OC South.
The russians kidnapped more than 120 people in Kherson oblast. Among them are representatives of local government bodies, heads of territorial communities, clergy, members of the Anti-Terrorist Operation forces, journalists and civilians.
According to the Kherson Military Administration, almost half of the population left Kherson.
