The 8th Special Forces Regiment, the National Guard, and the 15th Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine destroyed railway bridges seized by the russian occupiers, announced Deputy Interior Minister Anton Gerashchenko.
"To stop the offensive of the russian armed forces in the direction of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk, Luhansk region, the railway bridges captured by the enemy in the key connection between Rubizhne and Severodonetsk were destroyed," Gerashchenko wrote in his Telegram.
The MIA official published a video of the demolition of essential for the enemy bridges.
Earlier, the occupiers lost more than 70 units of equipment due to the blasting of the Seversky Donets crossing.
In late April, the Ukrainian military blew up a bridge through which the occupiers supplied weapons and fuel from Crimea.
