Today, May 17, around 5 a.m., the invaders launched missile strikes on Akhtyrka in the Sumy region. The central part of the city and the "Dachny" district were damaged most of all.

"Five russian missiles struck civilian targets and caused a lot of destruction. Warehouses caught fire. The shockwave damaged the front door to the entrance of a two-story house, people were blocked inside," he wrote.
Zhyvytskyy added that many private houses were damaged by the shelling, windows in the church were broken, and a kindergarten was also damaged.
At least five people were injured.
Yesterday, about 40 explosions were detected in the direction of Sumy and Chernihiv regions from the territory of the russian federation.
