Russian invaders are carrying out offensive actions in Sievierodonetsk, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
While the hostilities are ongoing, the occupiers are regrouping their forces and trying to strengthen their units.
According to the General Staff, as of 6 p.m. on 14 June, the situation in the other directions was as follows:
- in the Siversk direction, the occupiers fired mortars at the civil infrastructure in the area of the settlement Mykhalchyna Sloboda of the Chernihiv region.
- in the Kharkiv one, the invaders shelled at the civil infrastructure in the area of Demiivka, Ruska Lozova, Mospanove, and Bazalivka settlements. Also, the rashists [russian+fascist – tr.] mined from a distance the terrain in the areas of Bayrak, Peremoha, and Shestakovo settlements. They are conducting assault actions near Rubizhne.
- in the Slovyansk direction, the command documented systematic enemy artillery shellings in the areas of Tetyanivka, Chepil, Dolyna, Dibrivne, and Bohorodychne settlements.
- in the Lyman direction, there were no active hostilities. Russians fired artillery at the civil infrastructure in the area of Siversk.
- in the Sievierodonetsk direction, the invaders shelled the civil infrastructure in the areas of Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Bila Hora, Ustynivka, Toshkivka, and others. They conducted an air strike from helicopters near Metyolkine.
- in the Bakhmut direction, rashists shelled Ukrainian forces from mortars, and barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements Mykolaivka, Berestove, Vrubivka, Pokrovske, and New York. Also, the enemy army aviation struck near Bilohorivka. At the same time, the Ukrainian defenders in the area of Berestove repulsed an enemy assault, inflicted losses on the enemy, and forced them to retreat to the previously occupied positions. The hostilities are ongoing in the area of the settlement of Zolote, the occupiers are carrying out offensive actions.
- in the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavliv, and Zaporizhzhia directions there were no active hostilities. Russians shelled the civil infrastructure near Avdiivka, Maryinka, and Huliaipole. They carried out strikes of assault and army aviation in the area of the Sribne and Mali Shcherbaky settlements. They conducted the reconnaissance in force near Pavlivka.
- in the South Buh direction, the enemy shelled the units of the Ukrainian forces and tried to conduct counter-battery fire. And in the areas of the settlements of Trudoliubivka, Tokareve, Bashtanka, Kvitneve, Luch, Tavriiske, and Oleksandrivka, russian occupiers shelled the infrastructure from artillery, mortars, and multiple launch rocket systems. The invaders also are conducting reconnaissance here using drones. They mined certain areas of the Inhulets river from a distance.
Russia has carried out missile attacks on several regions of Ukraine. Due to the air defense, some of the air targets were shot down.
The air defense forces afterward shot down a russian cruise missile in the sky over the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
