Russia has fired six rockets on Dnipropetrovsk Region, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, Valentyn Reznichenko, has said.
The Ukrainian armed forces downed three of them above the Dnipro River and Synelnykove District.
The rocket attack damaged railway infrastructure and an industrial enterprise and caused a fire at a car service in the city of Dnipro.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, russia launched Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea at around 5.30 p.m.
Air defence of the Air Command East downed four rockets, it said.
