At least three people were killed and five wounded when a Russian rocket attack hit a multi-storied residential building in Mykolayiv, the head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, has said on Telegram.
"Rescuers and medics have gone to the scene already," he said in an earlier updae, asking local residents not to publish photos from the area.
A series of strong explosions rocked the city overnight.
