Parliament has appointed Oksana Zholnovych as new social policy minister with 282 votes, mostly given by the pro-presidential Servant of the People faction, Voice faction MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak has told LB.ua.
Zholnovych has headed the department for social policy and health care at the presidential office since 2020.
Her predecessor Maryna Lazebna resigned as social policy minister on 15 July after heading the office since 2020.
