Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed Viktor Khorenko commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
By another decree, Zelenskyy dismissed the previous commander, Hryhoriy Halahan.
Halahan took charge of the Special Operations Forces in August 2020. His predecessor was Ihor Lunyov.
