At around 5 a.m. today, Russia targeted a military unit in the village of Lyutezh, Kyiv Region. The Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from the Black Sea, Oleksiy Hromov, deputy head of the Main Operative Directorate of the Ukrinian Armed Forces' General Staff has told Media Centre Ukraine.
"Currently, there is information that one building was destroyed and two buildings were damaged. In addition, one cruise missile was shot down in the air over the Bucha quarry," he said.
Hromov noted that the strike was launched from the area of Cape Fiolent in Crimea.
Separately, the village of Honcharivske in Chernihiv Region was hit by multiple rocket launchers.
It has now been established that the attack was launched from Belarus from the Zyabrowka area in Homel Region.
"There are casualties among our personnel. They are being clarified," he stressed.
Kyiv regional police chief Andriy Nyebytov said 15 people were hurt.
"The debris of another missile of the occupiers was found by police in a forest also in Vyshhorod District. Fortunately, no-one was injured here," he said.
