Following the signing of an agreement to unblock Ukrainian ports for grain exports last week, Ukraine has resumed the operation of the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk and Pivdennyy, the Ukrainian Navy has said on Telegram.

Vessels will enter and leave the seaports by forming a caravan escorting the lead ship.

According to the Navy, efforts to ensure navigation and hydrographic security for ships, particularly those that transport grain, are underway in one of the ports in Odesa Region.

"Military and civilian specialists thoroughly search for underwater objects, install special means of navigational equipment, which will help the safety of navigation. Hydrographic surveying works also continue - determining depth, approach channels and recommended routes," the Navy said.
