Ukraine has already harvested 20.8 million tonnes of grain of the new crop. As of today, Mykolayiv and Transcarpathian regions have fully completed the harvesting of early crops, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine has said on Telegram.

"Mykolaiv and Transcarpathian regions have fully completed the harvesting of early crops. Rape and peas are 95% threshed, wheat 82%, barley 89%. Agricultural producers of Odesa and Dnipropetrovsk regions have threshed over 2 million tonnes of grain each, five other regions crossed a million threshold of grain harvesting," the report says.

It is noted that the harvesting of cereals and leguminous crops has been carried out on the area of 5.5 million ha (49%), 20.8 million tonnes of grain have been threshed: 3.8 million ha and 15.4 million tonnes of wheat, 1.4 million ha and 4.9 million tonnes of barley; 106,000 ha and 239,000 tonnes of peas respectively.

In addition, winter rape was harvested on the area of 1.042 million hectares, with 2.9 million tonnes of seeds threshed. The highest yield of grain and leguminous crops, 62 dt per hectare, is in Khmelnytskyy Region.

As of 5 August, agrarians harvested 17.5 million tonnes of grain. The threshing of peas has been completed in 11 regions of Ukraine. The harvesting of wheat in Odesa and Mykolayiv regions is 99% complete.
