An anti-aircraft missile unit of the Ukrainian Air Force shot down a Russian Cartographer drone in the sky over Mykolaiv Region on Friday morning.
"At about 9:00 a.m. on 2 September 2 in the skies over Mykolaiv Region, an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Force eliminated a Russian drone Cartographer, which is part of the Ptero family of multi-purpose unmanned aerial systems," the Air Force Command said.
The published photos of the downed UAV show a camera with 12 lenses designed to create terrain plans.
