The Kremlin plans to carry out massive cyber-attacks on critical infrastructure facilities of Ukrainian enterprises and critical infrastructure institutions of Ukraine's allies - the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reports.
"First of all, the attack will be aimed at enterprises of the energy sector. During the operations, the experience of cyber-attacks on the power systems of Ukraine in 2015 and 2016 will be used," the statement said.
By such actions, the enemy will try to increase the effect of missile strikes on power supply facilities, particularly in the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine. The occupants' command is convinced that this will slow down the offensive actions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
Moreover, the Kremlin intends to increase the intensity of DDoS attacks on the critical infrastructure of Ukraine's closest allies, especially Poland and the Baltic States.
