Ukrainian flag was officially raised in the liberated from russian occupants Lyman, Donetsk Region, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko reported on social networks.

According to him, the Commander of the Land Forces of the UAF Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi transferred from the military to the regional military administration the powers to establish further life in the liberated settlements.

"I thank our Armed Forces for clearing our Ukrainian lands from the enemy. The occupants leave ruins behind. Yet, the main thing is that this is our land. We will rebuild everything anew. In the meantime, we are starting with the establishment of logistics, the delivery of humanitarian aid, and the payment of retirement pensions," Kyrylenko said.

He emphasized that it is too early for the residents who had previously evacuated from the now de-occupied settlements to return.

"Large-scale demining work continues, a tough winter is ahead, which will be extremely difficult to survive. The war is still very close. We will restore everything, and we will all come back - everything in due time," the head of Donetsk Region emphasized.
