Since 1 August, when the agreement on the unblocking of ports came into force, Ukraine has exported almost 6 million tons of grain, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) on the implementation of the agreement reports.
The total amount of exported agricultural products from the three ports reached 5 903 748 tons.
According to the agreement, grain is exported from three ports: "Odesa, Pivdennyi and Chornomorsk.
The "grain agreement" was signed by Ukraine and Turkey with the mediation of the UN on the one hand and russia on the other. Ukraine and russia have not concluded any agreements with each other.
Moscow guaranteed safe departure of ships with Ukrainian products. In exchange, russia was promised to be able to export its fertilizers.
