The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated several settlements of Luhansk Region from russian invaders, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Serhiy Haidai reported in his video message on Telegram.
"Well, now it is official - de-occupation of Luhansk Region has started. Several settlements have already been liberated from the russian army and the Armed Forces of Ukraine are now hoisting the Ukrainian flag there," he said.
The Head of the Regional Military Administration noted that the de-occupation of the region will advance.
"I thank our Armed Forces for such great news. We help them, we do not get tired, and we believe in our victory. Luhansk Region is Ukraine, it was, is, and will be. There will be good things. Hold on," Haidai added.
Currently, the Ukrainian army continues its offensive in the eastern area and Donetsk Region. UAF are liberating Ukrainian settlements that were captured by russian occupiers.
