Ukraine will receive missiles for air defence and missile defence systems worth 15m euros from the Netherlands, according to a letter from Defence Minister Kajsa Ollongren and Foreign Minister Wopke Hoekstra to the Dutch parliament.
Thus, the Netherlands intends to strengthen the air and missile defence systems of Ukraine so that it can more effectively counter Russian aggression.
The decision to allocate assistance was made after the latest intensified Russian attack on Ukrainian cities.
Ministers Ollongren and Hoekstra pointed out that the Netherlands are in touch with the Ukrainian authorities and will provide constant support to our country.
In addition, the missiles from the Netherlands are suitable for the air defence and missile defence systems of Ukraine.
In the coming days, Germany will send self-propelled artillery systems PzH 2000 and multiple rocket launchers MARS II to Ukraine.
