The ratio of Ukrainian to Russian army losses in the south is about 1 to 6.5, Ukrainian Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar has said on Facebook, quoting Operational Command South Commander Maj-Gen Andriy Kovalchuk.

"The ratio of losses is about 1 to 6.5. According to him, the critical limit of the ratio of losses is 1 to 8, after which the enemy army will psychologically 'crumble'," Malyar said.

According to the military, the occupying units are already in a rather difficult situation in the south of Ukraine, but "there is no time to relax".

"On the contrary, we need to gather all our strength and power and squeeze the Russian army out of our land," Malyar stressed.

Since 24 February, Russia has lost almost 65,000 troops in the war.
