Yesterday, on 17 October, the Russians detained and took away in an unknown direction the Head of the Information Technology Service of Zaporizhzhya NPP Oleh Kostiukov and Assistant Director General of the plant Oleh Osheka, Enerhoatom reported on Telegram.
Currently, nothing is known about their whereabouts and condition.
"We appeal to the IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi and the entire international community to make every effort and use all possible measures to release the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant employees from the Russian terrorists' captivity and facilitate their return to duty," the statement reads.
