IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi has arrived in Kyiv.
"As agreed with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, after my meetings in St Petersburg I am coming back to Kyiv. The work on the establishment of a nuclear safety & security protection zone around the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant continues," he tweeted.
Yesterday he met Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss a safety zone around the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
Earlier today, Grossi said that external power supply at the plant was restored after yet another round of shelling.
