Greece starts supplying infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine – Kuleba

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba said that Greece has started supplying infantry fighting vehicles (BMP-1) to Ukraine.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy announced this at a press conference following the talks with his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine informed on Facebook.

"I will not deny that we especially appreciate the weapons that Greece transfers to Ukraine so that we can defend our land. It is very important that the long-awaited shipment of BMP-1 armored infantry fighting vehicles from Greece to Ukraine has already begun," Kuleba noted.

He added that BMP-1 "will soon arrive to the Ukrainian army and will instantly strengthen the combat capability and defence efficiency of Ukraine".
