Iran will supply ballistic missiles to Russia. This indicates a shortage of "Iskander-M" missiles at the enemy, the spokesman of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ihnat announced at a briefing.

"Roughly over the last two weeks we have a figure - 85% of drones were shot down by our forces. These are specifically Shahed-136 drones. It was only a matter of time, we have repeatedly emphasized this... Our servicemen have gained a certain understanding, and our forces have learned how to organize interaction, cover certain areas, what forces and means to detect and destroy them. As of today, we have 85%, although at the beginning of their application the rate of shooting down was lower," he said.

Ihnat reminded that aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces and air defence, the use of anti-aircraft guns and heavy machine guns have all proven effective in destroying such drones.

"Everything that is available is countering this danger... All this will be used until we receive other means and systems of different types and classes that our partners promise us... These systems will be effective specifically against kamikaze drones. Obviously, the enemy will continue to receive them from Iran".

According to him, international partners should block Iran's supply of ballistic missiles to Russia.

"The best defence against ballistic missiles is to destroy them where they stand. Or on their way, as our experts say... A ballistic missile flies at breakneck speed from the stratosphere and falls. Currently, Ukraine has no missile defence to effectively counteract this particular weapon. Iran will likely supply them if there are no mechanisms in the world to stop these supplies. But the positive thing about this news is that Russia has a shortage of Iskander-M ballistic missiles... These ballistic weapons are not something new to us. They have been striking with them from day one. However, the fact that Russia already has a shortage of such missiles is good news. Otherwise, they would not have asked Iran to supply them."
