The aviation of the Ukrainian Defence Forces conducted two strikes on the positions of Russian air defence systems over the day, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has said.

In total, five strikes were carried out. The other strikes included one on a cluster of weapons and military equipment, and two on Russian platoon strongholds.

Rocket troops and artillery units hit one command post of the Russians during the day.

Russians launched three missile and one air strikes, as well as more than 30 attacks from multiple rocket launchers.

The areas of more than 15 settlements were subjected to enemy attacks. Among them are Kupyansk in Kharkiv Region and Bereznehuvate and Ochakiv in Mykolayiv Region.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly. The republic of Belarus continues to support Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine.

Russia continues the transfer of individual units to the territory of Belarus. The threat of missile strikes and the use of attack UAVs from the territory and airspace of this country remains.

The enemy shelled in other directions:

Areas of about 20 settlements along the contact line were affected by fire in the South Buh direction.

The occupying authorities of the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Region are trying to create conditions unsuitable for the local civilian population in the controlled territory. Thus, in Nova Kakhovka, since 29 October of this year, access to the Internet has been turned off and, through loudspeakers, they are spreading information about the need to leave the region within 48 hours due to the threat of allegedly missile strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Medical personnel of local hospitals and operational services of the city are subject to priority so-called "evacuation". In addition, the occupation authorities issued a decree obliging entrepreneurs to sell off all food products and close shops and markets from 1 November 2022.

According to available information, the enemy is taking preparatory measures to withdraw artillery units from the right-bank part of the Kherson region, with their subsequent possible transfer to other directions.
