Ukrainian troops shot down a Russian strike helicopter in Kharkiv Region on 30 October, the Air Force Command has said.
The helicopter was hit at around 4 p.m. by an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Operational Command East.
Its modification is being checked.
Since 24 February, Russia has lost 274 aircraft and 252 helicopters in Ukraine.
