As a result of the Russian shelling of Kyiv, a power facility supplying about 350 thousand apartments was damaged, DTEK Kyiv Power Networks reported on Facebook.

"Because of this, there are emergency power cuts in the capital. Schedules of emergency outages drawn up earlier are currently not relevant," the company said.

Power engineers together with specialists of NPC Ukrenergo, other emergency services and state authorities are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation as soon as possible.

DTEK stated that a response plan and various scenarios of damage to key power supply facilities by the enemy have been developed for the capital. It will allow all the energy sector employees to act in a coordinated manner in case of critical situations and restore electricity supply to most of the affected settlements as soon as possible.
