This morning, Russians fired two missiles at a critical infrastructure facility in Chernivtsi Region, the head of the Chernivtsi regional military administration, Ruslan Zaparanyuk, has said.

According to him, today at 08:40 am, a critical energy infrastructure facility was damaged as a result of a missile strike. There was a fire, which was localized.

Zaparanyuk added that eight people received minor injuries (cuts), they do not need medical care.

"Experts are assessing the damage. But we can already say that the consequences of such a strike are very tangible for the entire power system of Ukraine... Unfortunately, we state significant damage, I would say critical. At the same time, people's lives and health are not threatened. There are no injured among the population," he said.

During today's attack, Russia damaged 18 facilities in 10 regions with missiles and drones. Mostly these were energy facilities.
