Ukraine and Russia conducted another exchange of prisoners. 107 defenders returned home.

Among them are six officers, 101 privates and sergeants, the Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak wrote on Telegram.

"These are our guys from the Armed Forces, the Navy, the Territorial Defence, the State Border Guard Service, the National Police, the State Special Transport Service, the National Guard, including three Azov soldiers," he said.

74 released soldiers defended Azovstal. Some volunteered to fly by helicopter to Mariupol to save lives and fight for the city.

Yermak informed that many wounded in the battles were returned home. In particular, they managed to exchange seriously wounded and lying wounded from Mariupol, from "Azovstal", guys with shrapnel injuries to arms and legs, gunshot wounds of different parts of the body. There are people with amputated limbs and burns, who cannot feel part of their face, with infected wounds. There is also a soldier wounded in the explosion in the Olenivka colony.

"Many of our guys were wounded back in March," added Yermak.

The Russian side reported that today it returned 107 of its occupiers.

The previous exchange of prisoners took place last week. 52 defenders returned home.
