Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has suggested that Russians are potentially ready for another "act of goodwill" in Kherson Region, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"Their (Russian - ed.) habit of 'acts of goodwill' has long been known to us. There was an 'act of goodwill' when they left the territory of Kyiv Region, then Sumy and Chernihiv regions due to the decisive actions of the security and defence sector. Then there was Snake Island - another 'act of goodwill'. I think that potentially they are ready for another 'act of goodwill' on the left bank of the Dnipro, just near the city of Kherson, Kherson Region. But for this they will have to lose some of their potential due to the appropriate actions of our Armed Forces," Reznikov said.

The minister added that the weather slows down the movement of Ukrainian troops in the Kherson direction.

"When the heavens turn on the rain mode, we also depend on it. The agricultural region of Kherson has a lot of irrigation systems, canals, which the enemies use as artificial trenches, so it slows down the movement of our troops," explained Reznikov.
