A delegation from South Korea has visited Kyiv Region, the head of the Kyiv regional military administration, Oleksiy Kuleba, has said.
He met Ambassador of South Korea to Ukraine Kim Hyung-tae and the director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency.
"We discussed the involvement of South Korea in the reconstruction of Kyiv Region and humanitarian and financial assistance to the region. Previously, the friendly country has already sent aid to Velyka Dymerka, Zazymya, Kalynivka and Tarashcha communities," Kuleba said.
He noted that Korean companies are known for their innovations and infrastructure projects.
"Kyiv Region is ready to become a pilot region for the implementation of Korean reconstruction projects in Ukraine," he added.
This month the Irpin authorities and the representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Ukraine signed a memorandum under which the ICRC will allocate more than UAH 45 million to the city.
