Today, pro-Ukrainian resistance forces set fire to the Russian staff in the village of Voznesenka, Melitopol District, which the occupiers arranged in a seized church, Melitopol mayor Ivan Fedorov has said.
"In the best traditions of ruscists, they placed their headquarters in one of the seized churches. However, our heroic resistance forces are not waiting for heavenly punishment, which will surely overtake the Russians. They are dealing with the enemy on their own," said Fedorov.
He added that information about Russian losses is being verified.
