Russian servicemen came under artillery fire of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near Makiyivka. After the shelling, 159 occupiers survived. They are walking from the village of Krasnorichenske in Luhansk Region to the Russian border town of Valuyki, Russian media have reported.
According to relatives of the mobilised Russian soldiers, 159 soldiers who survived the shelling come from four brigades that were part of the "non-existent" unit 11097. There are four wounded among the soldiers.
Their relatives came to the military unit in Valuyki. They demand they are given a lift to the territory of Russia. The distance between Krasnorichenske and Valuyki is 149 km.
A representative of the military unit came out to talk to the relatives. He asked them to compile a list of all mobilized soldiers with phone numbers of their relatives.
According to the wife of one of the occupiers, the relatives decided to stay the night near the unit. Before meeting with the representative of the unit, they tried to stop cars moving towards the border. They asked the drivers to take their relatives to Russia.
