Ukraine needs missiles with a range of more than 800 km to solve the problems arising from Russian aggression, National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov has said on Twitter.
"The best and most effective solution to the energy problem for Ukraine is missiles with a range of 800 km or more, which will allow us to significantly save on generators," it said.
According to the spokesman for the Air Force Command, Yuriy Ihnat, Russia has enough missiles and drones for new strikes on Ukraine, but there are not so many high-precision missiles which they use to target Ukraine's power system.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Russian occupiers have fired more than 4,000 different missiles at Ukraine.
Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate warned on 24 November that the next enemy missile attack could take place in a week.
