Currently, about 5,000 female servicewomen are directly involved in combat operations. Since the beginning of the full-scale military invasion by Russia, 101 female servicewomen have been killed, Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said, as reported by Ukrinform.

"About 5,000 women are directly involved in hostilities. One hundred and one female servicewomen were killed. There are 50 missing, more than 100 wounded. Fifty women have already been awarded state awards, have the title of Heroes of Ukraine, unfortunately, posthumously," he said at the Ukrainian Women's Congress.

Currently, 59,786 women serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Of these, 41,000 are servicewomen and, accordingly, almost 19,000 are civilian employees. These are not only doctors, there are various specialties, but all of them are the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Reznikov added.

As of 20 July, there were 38,629 female servicewomen in the Armed Forces.
