It becomes increasingly more evident that Russia needs a pause in hostilities, Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said in a video address to the Kyiv Security Forum, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
"The enemy still has significant resources, but there are more and more signs that it needs a pause at any cost. And this is the best proof that our victory will not be long in coming if we remain united and resilient. If the free world is firm and united in the desire to stop evil, it will happen," Reznikov said.
He stressed that over the year Ukrainian soldiers had mastered and brilliantly used Western air defence and missile defence systems, anti-radar and anti-ship missiles, four types of MLRS and 10 types of barrel artillery, dozens of types of man-portable air defence systems and ATGMs, dozens of types of armoured vehicles, engineering equipment, UAVs and countermeasures, radars, etc.
